#12.06.2012 Permanent materials set to be recognised as a new resource category by European Parliament
APEAL welcomes the endorsement, last 24th May, by the European Parliament of “Permanent materials” as a new resource category, working alongside the existing “renewable” and “non-renewable” categories of resources.
This endorsement offically recognises the positive contribution that an infinitely recyclable packaging material such as steel makes to resource efficiency and sustainability.
