#11.12.2017 APEAL will be speaking at the forthcoming ADF (Aerosol & Dispensing Forum) event in Paris
Alexis Van Maercke, secretary general, will address the audience of the metal can packaging forum (MCP) and aim to increase understanding of the environmental, economic and social benefits of using steel for packaging and how learnings from the drinks industry can be source of inspiration for aerosols.
Entitled “Steel for Packaging, model for a circular economy,” Alexis will provide an overview the advances made within European legislation for the promotion of the circular economy and the transition from a linear economy. He will also detail the advances made in the recognition of metals, such as steel, as permanent materials. Finally, he will show how a “traditional” material can be source of both innovation and sustainability, using examples from the drinks industry that could be source of inspiration for the aerosol industry.
