#01.02.2018 APEAL sponsoring the 2018 MEP Award for Environment this 21 March in Brussels
The Parliament Magazine’s MEP Awards recognise the hard work of members of the European Parliament while also celebrating their achievements across a wide variety of policy areas ranging from the environment to global trade agreements and from digital technology to farming.
The awards, often styled as Brussels’ answer to the Oscars, take place every year and bring together staff from the European Parliament, Commission and Council, as well as the wider EU bubble.
APEAL is proud to be the sponsor of the 2018 Environment category, where the esteemed nominees are Elisabeth Gardini (EPP, Italy), Seb Dance (S&D,United Kingdom) and Niels Torvalds (ALDE, Finland)
After a record number of nominations, the shortlist was announced yesterday.
The judging panel will convene on 5 February to select the winners. The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday 21 March, in the glamorous Concert Noble in Brussels, hosted by Greek MEP – and one of this year’s nominees – Eva Kaili.
