#21.06.2019 APEAL in joint metals and glass position paper on the Essential Requirements for packaging
APEAL, together with Eurofer, European Aluminium, Eurometaux and FEVE, welcomes the EC revision of the Essential Requirements for packaging stimulating good practices in packaging design suitable for the circular economy.
In light of this revision, the coalition of the permanent materials proposes introducing a recycling hierarchy promoting multiple recycling to keep the packaging material as long as possible in the circular loop.
