APEAL welcomes this declaration made in a recent interview of Karl Falkenberg, Director-General for Environment at the European Commission.
Indeed Falkenberg echoes positions advocated by APEAL and Steel for Packaging, namely the need to increase recycling of all household waste, improve separate collection in member states and harmonise current recycling measurement and methodologies in Europe.
