L'eau du thé and l'eau du café :
effective partnership for a brand boosting concept

Creating the ideal water composition for the preparation of tea and coffee has been a long standing objective for Fabrice Peltier, founder of P'Reference, one of the top design agencies in France.

This water, developed by Jean-François Rosanis, has the backing of Jean Montseren, famous tea expert and Jean-Pierre Blanc, Director of Malongo coffee, who would like to introduce this product in his shops.

To bring out the specificity of the product, a packaging concept as original as its content was required. Fabrice Peltier relied on collaboration with Massilly to develop this packaging and on Usinor Packaging for the steel raw material.

Indeed, steel protects the water from light. Its flexibility, printing potential and brilliance make it an excellent design support. These qualities have also enabled Massilly to create a totally original and recyclable can.

Its original window in the shape of a water droplet enables the user to check on the level of water left in the internal pouch. This pouch is fixed to the lid and can be emptied using an integrated handle. This packaging concept offers the consumer the convenience of reclosability and refilling possibilities.

Finally, this can not only fulfills the packaging requirements of this concept, it is an integral part. This concept is the result of a successful collaboration between the actors involved.
